Basic C scale

The starting point is the C major scale ( also called the Ionian sclae): C Major Scale C D E F G A B 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Also heard as: C - do D - re E - mi F - fa G - sol A - la B- ti C- do The numbers in the scale are called the function of the note in a scale or chord. 1 is also know as the 'root' of the chord and scale.
